My first college experience on my own

Well this was not plan but of course things happen..
One day this week my home health aid called out sick..It was unexpected. I had no idea so I was not prepared
I had to go to class this day.. I got ready got dress and ate breakfast and waited for my ride 8:30 a.m yet my aid didn't arrive yet my heart started beating. I have an 8:33 a.m  sharp pick up with Access A Ride.. Of course I refuse to get a no show on my record and miss a day of classes for another type of unreliable service that suppose to provide me with care or assist me but unfortunately they failed to provide me with service in time so I continued my journey to school on my own for the first time. Thanks to my college for being disability- friendly.
Thanks to the nurse for assisting me in taking on and off my coat and thanks to the students for helping take off my book bag to get my books out for class.
Thank god for my six power wheels for being the powers to get me around campus with no problems. Thanks for being my legs with no excuses. I am never afraid to ask for help in a disability friendly environment.
Thanks for giving me the confidence to just say no matter what I am going to class.

Thanks for ensuring my mom to feel okay that I am going to class on my own since she personally know I struggle with fears of being alone but this was a big step for both me and my mom as she was afraid to let me be alone but I did it safe and sound Thank God
